Swish Now Available for In-Store Payments with MultiPay

 

Swish, one of Sweden’s most trusted and widely used mobile payment methods, is now supported by MultiPay for face-to-face transactions.

With millions of active users and seamless integration with users’ bank accounts, Swish enables customers to make instant payments using just their mobile number via the Swish app, whether online or in-store.
Through MultiPay, merchants in Sweden can now accept Swish in-store via:

✅ Integrated mode – initiated directly from the EPOS system
✅ Standalone mode – amount entered manually on the payment terminal

How it works – in a few simple steps:

1️⃣ EPOS sends the payment request to the PED
2️⃣ A QR code is generated and displayed on the PED
3️⃣ The customer scans the code using the Swish app
4️⃣ The payment is executed and confirmed in seconds
